The Journey...
My mother had a beautiful voice and was a pianist. My dad still plays the guitar. Music was always a family affair.
I was playing in bars before I was old enough to drink in them. I played in folk and rock bands all over New York City, Denver, and New Mexico.
I moved back to New York when my mother's health was failing. Her time in a nursing home inspired me to provide high-quality, music entertainment for people in residential homes. It has become more than I ever imagined; it has turned into a mission.
The feedback I get from the residents is enlightening; the importance of music is paramount to their wellbeing. It is a privilege to be able to brighten up their days.

Yoga Instructor
I first stepped on a yoga mat in the early 80s at the Kripalu Center for Yoga in Lenox, Massachusetts. Over the years of practicing yoga, I never entertained the idea of teaching. However, the last two years, I noticed that friends who once were very active, slowed down due to all kinds of mobility issues.
In addition to my 200-hour teacher training certification, I became certified in the Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga™ method. She literally wrote the book on Chair Yoga. I was so inspired after the training, it became infectious with my clients. Finally, a chair yoga method that spoke directly to mobility issues.
Many of my yoga practitioners are wheelchair-bound and thought that would stop them from enjoying a great class. Not at all! Just when I thought I couldn't find more joy from sharing music, the joy level has kicked up by sharing my love of yoga.
